After their successful attempt in 2013 to pass the Straits of Magellan from the west to the east, the Swiss kiteboarding brothers Andre and Geza Scholtz and professional kitesurfer Richard Flindall are back to embark on yet another epic journey. 2015 led the two brothers and Richard Flindall up north to the Arctic, to a remote area of extreme temperatures below zero, where unpredictable katabatic winds and large icebergs guaranteed for another amazing venture. The Arctic Challenge was a quest to define the boundaries of what is possible in kiteboarding today and to find the ultimate limits of the human ability to perform in the harshest environment on the planet. The ambition was to produce a documentary style adventure film bringing together sport and nature. With the key material of the production, we created an advertisement campaign for the main sponsor Allianz Suisse. Pristine coastline, freezing temperatures, extreme winds and water littered with icebergs guaranteed for a one of a kind and absolutely unique visual imagery.
